Workplace gender equality will be achieved when all of VAGO’s employees are able to access and enjoy equal rewards, resources and opportunities regardless of their gender and background.

Our Gender Equality Action Plan is structured around the 7 indicators of workplace gender equality in the Gender Equality Act 2020.

  1. Gender composition at all levels of the workforce
  2. Gender composition of governing bodies
  3. Gender pay equity
  4. Workplace sexual harassment
  5. Recruitment and promotion practices
  6. Leave and flexibility
  7. Gendered work segregation

Through this plan, we commit to continue the integration of gender, intersectionality and equality in our business practices, systems and behaviours, underpinned by our organisation values of Respect, Collaboration, Innovation and Accountability.

We look forward to continuing to work together throughout the life of the plan to ensure that VAGO is an employer of choice where workplace gender equality is part of our DNA.
