Disability Support at Urban Utilities

We're made up of people of all abilities.

Our goal is to provide a safe workplace that is accessible to everyone. One where people feel comfortable being open about any disability or barrier they face so we as an organisation can support them. At Urban Utilities we are focused on improving the employment outcomes for people living with disability. This includes identifying any barriers or hurdles to inclusion and developing actions to remove them.

Our recent move to 31 Duncan Street provided us with an opportunity to incorporate a number of initiatives we know are important to our people. Meeting rooms, bathrooms and kitchen spaces have all been designed with accessibility in mind. We have worked hard to provide for our neurodivergent team members, utilising muted colours, testing fabric for chairs on sensory impacts, creating quiet spaces and different textures in the materials used in our furniture. 

Powered by state-of-the-art technology, our new office offers innovative workspaces that attract employees to connect with each other and work with purpose.
