Justin [00:00:03] What was the trickiest or the actual hardest question that you got asked in an interview during that application process to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet?

Interviewee [00:00:11] The most difficult question that took me by surprise was why is innovation important in policy making? And I think it took me by surprise because it's not a behavioural question. I didn't have to look through my CV and come up with an example. So yeah, that was why I was a bit surprised.

Justin [00:00:27] And how do you answer it?

Interviewee [00:00:28] I said that innovation was important because it's important that government is reactive because current state, the geopolitical state of the world is a bit hectic at the moment. So it's important that government can react and be flexible and reflect also the diverse communities in our country.
