Pros & Cons

  • Optus has an amazing culture, everyone is very friendly! My team is so supportive and willing to teach, which made me feel confident and comfortable to ask questions and learn. The best things about the Optus Graduate programme is that I was given opportunities to work on actual projects, I can develop my career through experiencing different roles in the rotations, and get to meet so many new friends!

My role is very dynamic and involves an ebb and flow of projects. Some days may be very busy, other days may not be. Day-to-day responsibilities include having meetings with different people from the business to co-create and align strategies together for particular projects, building programs and processes and creating reports ('slide decks') for the team.

Very happy with both direct and higher up management. They are available whenever I need them and they make time to help me with whatever I ask for. Recognition is a nice factor, even in times I don't believe I have done anything particularly amazing I receive positive feedback.
