The Technology Advisory practice offers an exciting and challenging environment, where our specialist technology advisory consultants work with our clients to support them across a wide range of challenges – including developing digital strategies, procuring technology, delivering and assessing complex IT projects, managing complex transformation and supporting the technology elements of mergers and acquisitions.

As a Technology Advisory graduate, you’ll have the opportunity to further develop your soft and technical skills by working with professionals across our Consulting, Digital & Technology groups. We are looking for agile individuals who enjoy problem solving, are goal oriented and are committed to business excellence.

Your day to day:

  • Conduct a wide range of technology advisory engagements, across various clients, sectors, technologies and business functions
  • Utilise KPMG and industry best practice frameworks and methodologies to evaluate maturity and capability, providing meaningful analysis and recommendations to inform decision making.
  • Contribute to the success of client engagements as a junior team member by leveraging and learning from KPMG's cross functional specialists.
  • Contribute to the development of engagement approaches and plans, and support delivery to help solve complex client problems.
  • Review client provided information to identify findings, themes or patterns relevant to the engagement and summarise findings to be included in engagement deliverables.

Your Day-to-Day | Ngā mahi o ia rā:

  • Coordinate client engagements, including meetings, interviews, and networking events.
  • Assist Engagement Managers with risk management procedures and note-taking.
  • Support the planning of engagements by developing work programmes.
  • Gather client feedback through satisfaction surveys for engagement reviews.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by understanding client businesses and developing sales responses.
  • Ensure quality by producing well-presented documents, complying with standards, and providing peer review.
