A Day in the Life at Queensland Audit Office

I really enjoy finding out more about all the clients and their systems, because I have a passion for learning and a natural curiosity as to how things work.

Once we arrive at the council, it’s nice to say a quick hello to our clients and check in. This is an opportunity to build up some rapport with them and better understand their day-to-day operations. I always like to ask for recommendations for cafes, restaurants, and any fun events happening during our trip as well.

I love being able to work across the different business areas at QAO. And we do so much more than auditing financial statements.
