Culture at Harvey Norman

8.8
8.8 rating for Culture, based on 6 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Every department is individually franchised therefore you report and sell to customers within your department only. Even so, members from other departments have always looked out for one another and we still chat in and outside of work. Very inclusive and people focused.

I would probably describe my current place a top down hierarchy. However, it's a bit different outside of work. It's a bit of a mix.

My company's working culture is very inclusive and engaging for all colleagues and it is a flat hierarchical structure. I believe that I have created a very committed and hard-working environment, who also genuinely care about the outcome of the business' performance

During office hours it is very professional but we do like to joke around on the floor, which does lighten up the mood. After office works if we hang out it is very relaxed more like just a few friends catching up.

The culture has been great for me. There is always healthy competition in sales, however the team is always supportive.

There can be some drama between staff but otherwise good teamwork
