Undergraduate Vacation Studentships (Nov 2024)

At CSIRO, we solve the greatest challenges through innovative science and technology. But it's tomorrow's innovations that excite us – wearable technology that alerts a doctor when you're sick, 3D printing body parts that save lives, examining the far reaches of space and so much more. CSIRO relies on bringing the best people to the greatest challenges with experts in engineering, computing, and the sciences, supported by professionals in law, human resources, communication and more.

The CSIRO Vacation Studentship Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to work on a real-world project and expand their skills and knowledge while exploring ways to solve complex problems that make a real difference to our future. Participation in the Vacation Studentship Program has influenced previous scholarship holders in their choice of further study and future career options. Many have gone on to pursue a PhD in CSIRO or to build a successful research career within CSIRO, a university or industry.

Vacation students will be paid a stipend and in some cases may also receive a contribution towards travel and accommodation costs.
