Atteris, with offices in Perth Australia and Houston USA, delivers engineering services to the onshore and offshore energy sectors. We specialise in subsea and pipeline engineering.
Atteris was established in 1999 and has matured into a reputable engineering services provider for capital projects and operations worldwide. The company has a history of being innovative and has been awarded Engineering Excellence Awards by Engineers Australia for several projects and innovations. Atteris has a strong presence within the industry and encourages its staff to be actively involved with industry bodies and R&D organisations, and to attend industry events.
Atteris embraces the diversity of its staff; and fosters amity, mutual respect and inclusion between work colleagues. The leadership team is also genuinely interested in the development and wellbeing of its people.
Atteris' employees are its primary assets, and we continuously look for new talent to join the team. Atteris is keen to talk with engineering students about supporting their final year thesis and their internships, and with graduate engineers about career prospects.
The Atteris assessment and recruitment process is as follows:
Atteris' salary levels are in line with the market levels of the industries in which it operates. An annual bonus system is in place, which is based on the performance of the business as a whole and that of the employee.
Atteris provides on-the-job learning opportunities combined with external training programs provided by experts in the industry.
Graduate Engineers entering the business will be mentored and coached by more senior staff on engineering projects. Promotion to Engineer is typically achieved after one year of employment. The pathway to Senior Engineer (after approximately five years) and Lead Engineer (after approximately ten years) will be monitored by a dedicated mentor/manager. Atteris encourages and supports its staff to become a Chartered Engineer in that period. Beyond the ten-year employment period, further growth and development is encouraged, including taking up leadership positions within the business.
Atteris offers mentoring and coaching to all our staff to ensure development needs are addressed. A unique in-house developed competency framework is used. This system has now been adopted by Engineers Australia. Engineering staff is developed such that they can ultimately relatively independently manage and deliver on engineering projects.
