In 1996, Virtusa Corporation was founded as eRunway in Sri Lanka. The company was rebranded to Virtusa six years later. Despite its origin, the company is headquartered in Massachusetts, USA, and has several delivery centres in Sri Lanka and India.

Today, they help more than 220 clients in 25 countries in more than 50 locations around the world. Their capabilities include digital transformation, data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other technology consulting services.

Recruitment process

The selection process at Virtusa starts with a Written/Online Test consisting of questions tailored to assess specific skills and knowledge, usually about programming languages and data structures.

The next round is Technical Interview, where the questions may come from your resume, your past projects, or what you learned from your school related to software development. You will need in-depth technical knowledge and a lot of preparation for this stage.

The third round is Group Interview. In this stage, they will look at your capacity to collaborate with others, leadership qualities, and adaptability to work with the team. The final round, which is an HR interview, may include a behavioural interview, where candidates are assessed based on their problem-solving skills, communication skills, and fit with the company culture.

When you are going to attend an interview, you may need to carry the following documents: copies of your resume, passport-size photographs, previous year's mark sheet, and internship certificate (if any).
