Summer Vacation Program
Our paid, 12-week Program, which starts in November this year, has been specifically designed to give you hands-on work experience as well as immersive development and learning opportunities.
It also feeds into our Telstra Graduate Program, which means if you’re one of our top performers you’ll be considered for early offers.
What you’ll be doing as a Product and Service Design intern
We’re focused on delivering a seamless and amazing experience for all our customers. To help us do this, our product and service design teams play an important role in bringing our products to life.
As a summer vacationer, you’ll be able to see how our teams develop a superior user experience, which is anchored by a human-centred design approach. You’ll also get an insight into how we do research, user testing, develop segment personas and prototypes, and test them with our customers.
What skills and experiences do you need?
We’re looking for students who are studying a degree like Business Commerce (Marketing), Innovation and Design, Design Computing, Design or Psychology (HCD or design thinking).
You’ll also need to be a great communicator, a team contributor and someone who likes to solve complex problems.
Program eligibility
Our Summer Vacation Program is open to university students who are in the penultimate year of their studies of a minimum three-year undergraduate degree from an Australian university or those undertaking their master’s degree. So, you will need to be graduating in 2021 in order to be eligible.
