Andrew Li completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and Bachelor of Business (Finance) at Queensland University of Technology in 2022 and is now a FIFO Graduate Engineer with BMD based in Brisbane and travelling to the Northern Territory. No two days are ever the same in his role, and the following profile provides a general snapshot of what his day may involve.

I am helping organise a school tour and learning event for Loretto Kirribilli, which aims to inspire and empower female high school students to consider a career in engineering.

Angelina Yurlova studied Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts and is a Lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth.

Annabelle Fordyce graduated with a double degree of Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and Bachelor of Mathematics (Operations Research) at the Queensland University of Technology in 2020 and is now a Graduate Assurance Analyst at Mazars Australia.

It’s extremely rewarding to know that within the space of a day, I have understood the entire business’ monthly financial performance for the month and analysed its entire financial forecast for the rest of the year.

We have a weekly sync with our external marketing who helps partners with marketing activities. We also work very closely with the team at our distributor which is an extension of our team. We discuss upcoming events and strategies for the next few months and any further updates.

I collaborate with other graduates, working on designing new equipment to satisfy our customer's demands. We exchange ideas about our design and split tasks among each other, ensuring the project meets its scheduled deadline.
