I’ve learned so much in a short time. I feel content knowing my work has a direct relationship with ultimately making the lives of Australians better.

I love being able to rotate through the agency to get a clearer idea of how the overall agency operates. It has also helped me try out jobs to see if they are a good fit for me or not. It is very cool to be in Canberra too, it feels like I am in the heart of the nation’s politics and press, and that can feel exciting. 

The work has been challenging but doable, and as my time goes on in the program, I feel I can give more back to my team and the projects they’re running.

I enjoy meeting with different teams and coming up with a solution that works for everyone.

The coolest thing about my job is to be able to work on continuous improvement projects and really make a difference in our products! The most recent project I worked on was in figuring out how to reduce liquid wastage across our canning line.

The most rewarding part is interacting with customers and finding solutions to meet their needs. Each department has different energy with lots to offer and to teach.

Currently, my areas of responsibility include helping to manage the Business Development channel. As a channel, BD is focussed on emerging retail accounts.
