My role is to support our projects with effective planning and the execution of preventative asset maintenance.

The other aspect of my job is the ability to look over the whole supply chain from mine to ship within Mineral Resources and that gives me a sense of being impactful, which helps me stay motivated.

Byrnecut’s vacation program is a great opportunity to learn about the underground mining industry.

Don’t be afraid to go for roles you wouldn’t typically go for – you won’t know if you enjoy something until you try it, and where you end up can be very different than what you originally planned.

I love the variety and investigative nature of my role. I enjoy getting lost in a spreadsheet and looking for reasons why the data is showing a certain trend.

Take on leadership roles and extracurricular activities in uni! The interpersonal skills you will develop are invaluable when securing grad jobs and excelling in the workplace.

Now that I have been accepted into the 2018 graduate program, I will be moving around the business and gaining experience in many different roles and locations.

As a Rail Graduate, I am fortunate to be provided with the opportunity to rotate through the business every 6 months, for a period of 2 years.
