My job varies a lot each day but the most interesting thing I’ve been involved in was a product photoshoot. I was lucky enough to go to the photography studio where we also had two chefs creating delicious meals out of our products.

Each piece of work you undertake contributes to ASIO’s mission and has the power to make a real difference in protecting Australians.

It was a real career change for me, from an experienced academic to a novice public servant, but I have learned so much and enjoyed both rotations immensely so far.

What we do has a direct effect on the country. A policy we come up with could change what childcare providers have to do, or how easily they can access information.
