We’ve set an ambitious goal to achieve net zero by 2035 in Victoria (it will be 2030 for some of our clients). My job is to make it happen!

I usually get up at 7.00 am to make myself in the office at 8.30 am. But there are also many days when I have to get up a little earlier to go on site or to catch a morning flight for a client meeting.

7.30 AM

Since I started my second rotation in the Net Zero project, I have been traveling frequently to client sites. It can be in regional Victoria or even interstates. 07.30 am in the morning will be the time when I am ready to drive for a couple of hours or heading to the airport.

Quick snack before meeting clients. A cup of coffee can help me to keep a clear mind!

Meeting with Clients. Thanks to the technologies, we can do many client meetings virtually. But for the important ones, I still will need to be there in person. It can always make me excited to present in front of our clients. We’ve set an ambitious goal to achieve net zero by 2035 in Victoria (it will be 2030 for some of our clients). My job is to make it happen!

12.00 PM

That’s my lunch time. My favorite lunch spot is not the lunch room in the office. It's the Royal Botanical Garden! Just go across the street, I can enjoy the summer breeze in the green. Sometimes I have lunch with colleagues at our secret spot, sometimes I have a walk myself or have a quick phone call with friends and families. But when the weather gets colder, I’d prefer to have lunch and a chat with colleagues in the kitchen.

1.00 PM

Time for work again! Afternoon usually is the time when I implement the ideas from morning meetings. If there are no more meetings, I will have 2 or 3 quick breaks for a cup of coffee or fresh air between work.

Time for home!

I like to workout a little bit after work. If I have business trip interstates, I even have a chance to do some sports with colleagues from all over Australia! Here is a picture of us playing cricket at Gold Coast when I had a business trip there.
