Accounting Graduate (Start ASAP)

About the role

The role consists of a number of rotations which will provide you with exposure to a variety of work activities across Group Finance at Ventia. You will be provided with training and workplace coaching as you progress through your allocated work placements. The role will focus on enhancing your existing skills and developing new skills and capabilities to assist you as you transition into your accounting career. The role will also include a project to identify, scope and implement an activity to enhance the work of finance.

A mentor will be allocated to help support you throughout the first 2 years in the role. You will also have opportunities to establish relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.

Group Finance teams you could be working for include: 

• Corporate Accounting
• Financial Reporting
• Financial Control
• Financial Planning & Analysis
• Group Taxation

After the first 2 years in the role, we will continue to support your career development and offer study assistance for further education through our Finance Academy.

About you

To be eligible for the role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Successfully completed a Bachelors of Commence or Business with a major in Accounting in the last two years, or be in your final semester of study
• Hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency
• Ambitious, adaptable and driven to learn
• Passionate about finding innovative solutions to new challenges
• Good communication and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
• Strong technology skills
