Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders at Stockland

At Stockland, we acknowledge, respect and value the rich diversity and contribution First Nations People bring to Stockland.

In line with our vision and sustainability strategy, our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan aims to make a valuable contribution to our communities and our country by helping to shape thriving communities that value, respect and celebrate Australia's First Peoples.

Our Innovate RAP (2020-22) sets out our commitment to deepen our understanding of our shared histories, cultures, and achievements and explore ways we can contribute to reconciliation in Australia, becoming a part of our everyday thinking and actions.

Since launching our Reconciliation Action Plan, Stockland has purchased over $3.2 million in corporate procurement from 31 First Nation suppliers and partnered with the Good Foundation and Jamie's Ministry of Food to deliver five-week cooking classes to local Aboriginal communities at Mossman Gorge and Cherbourg in Queensland. Progress against our RAP actions is tracked and reported throughout the year, including targets for indigenous employment opportunities. Stockland also provides paid internships via Career Trackers, for undergraduates from an Indigenous cultural background.
