There’s no better place to kick start your career than at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand – Te Pūtea Matua. As New Zealand’s central bank they’re a kaitiaki of Aotearoa’s economy, and they’re recruiting now for Graduate and Summer Internship positions.

In their Economics, Financial Markets, Supervision, Financial System Policy, and Analysis, or Data and Statistics departments, you’ll get first-hand experience of how they maintain New Zealand’s monetary systems and policies.

    • Five weeks annual leave and Flexi leave - They offer five weeks of paid annual leave each year. But that’s not all. They allow employees to buy up to an extra three weeks of Flexi leave in a calendar year. The cost of each additional week’s leave is 2% of your total remuneration.

    About you

    To join their Intern programme, you’ll be a Master’s or Honours-level student or a recent graduate, majoring in economics, finance, mathematics, law, and/or accounting. Otherwise, you’ll have a postgraduate qualification with these same majors combined with relevant work experience. You’ll need to be available to start full-time work with them in Wellington.

    They’re looking for graduates who:

    • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
