Your role

Te Pūtea Matua has an exciting Summer Internship Programme where you’ll join a whānau | family of committed people who make key judgements affecting the ōhanga | economy to improve the lives of all those who call Aotearoa home. Everything they do enables people, communities and businesses to thrive, today and tomorrow.

The Intern Analyst is responsible for becoming familiar with the department’s operational functions and undertaking analysis and research related to a broad range of issues relevant to the department. You will be given the opportunity to contribute to and at times lead, pieces of work within the department you are placed in, with defined deliverables and the opportunity to present your work to other experts at the Bank.

When you join their summer internship you will have your own project to work on and ready to see first-hand the inner workings of a central bank and have some fun along the way.

    About you

    Is this you?

    • You are currently studying economics, finance, law, mathematics, accounting or other relevant study
    • You will be entering your final year of your undergraduate degree or you’ll be studying towards your postgraduate qualification
    • You’ll be a NZ citizen or NZ permanent resident.
