About Risk Modeling Services practice:

In the Risk Modeling Services practice, professionals offer comprehensive insurance advice to clients, spanning solvency, risk management, financial modelling, and regulatory compliance, enabling them to navigate complex financial landscapes and adapt to changing requirements effectively.

As an Intern / Trainee, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Intern's role in PWC's core actuarial and insurance services provided to clients is to:

About you

Eligible criteria:

  • Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
  • Required Fields of Study: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics.
  • Additional Educational Requirements: Other quantitative fields of study may be considered.
  • Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Preferred major GPA: 3.0

Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join during the winter/spring or summer before their intended graduation year.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following:

  • Possessing a basic understanding of actuarial science, applied statistics, risk and capital management, value analyses, and financial reporting standards;
  • Desiring to pursue a career in actuarial consulting;
  • Exhibiting creative problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks;
  • Interacting with various levels of client and firm management in both written and verbal form; and,
  • Exemplifying an ability to self-motivate and take responsibility for personal growth and development.
