What I enjoy the most is getting information from the analysts in my team. It gives me the opportunity to network more and understand at a higher level what they’re sending means.

Daniel graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and studied a Bachelor of Design, and is now working as a design graduate at Optus.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help – the world is not going to end if something goes wrong, it may just take a little bit more time to bounce back. Having the courage to ask for help will keep you calmer than trying to figure things out on your own.

I love that I am creating a better experience for customers. I enjoy designing customer journeys to create seamless service experiences.

The roles available within HR, particularly in a large organisation such as Optus, are so varied that there is something for everyone.

Every day is different, and every day I find myself learning something new about not only the industry, the business, people around me, but also something new about myself.

I love being a part of the graduate program at Optus and want to share with you my top four tips for easing into your first ‘real’ job.

I feel so lucky to be in a role where I am constantly being put under a healthy amount of pressure to push myself and strive to deliver outcomes as there is always work to be done.

Don’t shy away from asking for what you want. The tech industry needs more females – especially in leadership positions.
