I really enjoy the level of collaboration and teamwork that I have in my role – since working here I’ve done projects with almost every team.

I like the people who I’m surrounded with – both the culture and the excellence. Being surrounded by like-minded people who are all very analytically talented, makes for a lot of interesting discussions during the day.

I love that I have the autonomy to focus on problems that I will have the most impact on.

People are proactive, and always willing to help you out or explain things to you. I don’t think there’s been a single day so far where I haven’t learnt something new.

The best part about working at Optiver is the teamwork and the collaboration between the different teams in the company.

It was a short step to discover that within the industry, Optiver was the best.

As a risk manager, we evaluate possible scenarios and the risks, develop frameworks and put systems in place to minimise their impact.

It’s not just about here’s a problem, solve it and then it’s done forever. It’s more like here’s a possible solution, and how can we make it even better.
