Your role

About the program:

The Institutional Securities Group Risk Management (ISG Risk) Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program, beginning with one week of classroom training followed by nine weeks of rotations across ISG Risk. ISG Risk is a first-line risk management function comprised of counterparty risk, electronic trading and risk management, and non-market risk. 

Responsibilities of ISG Risk:

Counterparty Risk:

  1. Monitor and manage counterparty risk generated by ISG businesses.
  2. Oversee risk in areas including Prime Brokerage, OTC Clearing, Listed Derivatives, Institutional IED and FID derivatives, Securities Lending, and Repo.

Non-Market Risk:

  1. Support the implementation and execution of processes and projects.
  2. Identify and mitigate various risks, including regulatory and operational risks.
  3. Collaborate with Sales & Trading, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Technology, Finance, Audit, and 2nd line risk departments.

Training, development & rotations

Summer Analysts experience rotations in Fixed Income Counterparty Risk, ISG Counterparty Risk, and Non-Market Risk (NMR), engaging in a program with senior speakers, networking, and mentorship, along with a significant project for management. The program includes ongoing training and collaboration on impactful projects. It starts with a week-long orientation and specific training in Sales, Trading, and ISG Risk, emphasizing core skills, market updates, and technical knowledge.

The expected base pay rate for the role will be $52.89 per hour.
