About Morgan Stanley Fund Services (MSFS):

Morgan Stanley Fund Services (MSFS) manages around $500 billion in assets with a global team of over 1,000, providing specialized services in accounting, reporting, and analytics to diverse clients like hedge funds and private equity firms. Operating in major cities worldwide, MSFS collaborates with client executives and investors to deliver innovative financial solutions.

Responsibilities:

The MSFS Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week program that begins with one week of classroom training, followed by four rotations across the business. Summer Analysts will be placed with the Investor Services, Middle Office, Product Development, and the Anti-Money Laundering team and spend time in both the New York and Purchase offices.

Placements:

Investor Services (IS): IS helps clients with investor-related tasks, like handling their investments and keeping good relations through organizing documents and communication.

Middle Office (MO): MO supports clients' top officers with managing trades and money, ensuring everything is processed correctly and balances are checked.

Product Development: This team works to improve MSFS’s tech products by understanding what clients need and making sure new developments meet these needs.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML): AML helps clients prevent and handle money laundering risks, working with legal teams and handling important documents and communications.

Training, development & rotations

The program begins with a one-day orientation where Summer Analysts are introduced to the Firm and primary businesses, as well as to one another at the opening Firmwide networking event. For the remainder of training, Summer Analysts will attend divisional-specific events designed to help develop the core skills required for a successful summer.

Salary & benefits

The expected base pay rate(s) for the role will be $43.27 per hour.
