Your role

Join the 2025 Graduate Technology Program where you’ll play an active role in solving complex technical problems and driving technological innovation for teams and customers. 

By joining the Graduate Technology Program, you’ll build your skills and career. Your development starts with a tailored orientation at the global headquarters in Sydney. You’ll then embark on a 12-month structured program with on-the-job training, access to senior leaders and a comprehensive range of internal and external learning opportunities.

  • Engineering - From designing to building and maintaining our systems, as an Engineer you could write code, develop or specialise in architecture, UI design, testing, business analysis or production support.
  • Data analysis and management - Specialise in data analysis and help identify opportunities for the business by automating processes and enabling growth.
  • Cyber security - Use your curiosity and critical thinking to continuously evolve the technology and processes to support Macquarie in keeping pace with the ever-evolving threat landscape.
  • Business analysis - Enable Macquarie by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
  • Project management - Help define project goals, communicate with stakeholders, and manage a project through to closure.
  • Design - Use your problem-solving skills and human-centred design to develop new products, services, and experiences.

About you

What you offer

  • Degrees Macquarie is looking for include computer science, software engineering, data science and decisions, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, engineering (electrical, mechanical, mechatronic, computer), information technology, cyber security, information systems, digital experience and design, design computing, science.
  • You are in your final year of study or have completed your studies within 12 months of applying (that's 12 months from your last subject or unit)
  • No prior financial experience is required, just an innate curiosity and eagerness to learn.
