Salary at KPMG Australia

5.2 rating for Salary, based on 26 reviews
What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
As an Analyst, I do not receive a bonus. They pay is $65,000 a year for a graduate in Audit - including super.
Graduate, Perth
I think that for the level I am at the pay is understandable.
Graduate, Melbourne
I would say are reasonable
Graduate, Canberra
The pay is not that great compared to other options I could have taken. It would be nice to have super added on to our salary as opposed to taken out, as the salary is already not that high. In the long run I think it will be ok but its a bit tough at the moment
Graduate, Brisbane
Low. Headline salary includes Super and we have to work unpaid overtime occasionally without automatic time in lieu
Graduate, Sydney
Many employees are very unhappy with the pay on the basis of the effort and hours they put in to the work.
Graduate, Sydney
I don't get paid enough for the work I do
Graduate, Canberra
Pay is not great currently but hopefully I move up the ranks and gain some bonuses going forward.
Graduate, Perth
It is not very competitive for a starting salary
Graduate, Canberra
The pay is okay and moderate for the work. I think, it is well known in the media that the pay at a big 4 is not fantastic for the hours worked. However, the learning opportunities that are available, the ability to upskill and exposure you gain provides a point of difference.
Graduate, Brisbane
I think everyone knows coming into the Big 4 that you are expected to work ridiculous hours for barely any pay. I am doing it for the experience in the hopes I can move out of Big 4 into industry and earn better money
Graduate, Adelaide
Very average salary.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
We get significant discounts through corporate deals. We also get plenty of Lunches, drinks and coffees on the company.
Graduate, Perth
Discounted items for shopping and retail (about 5-10%)
Graduate, Melbourne
I haven't delved into this enough yet however I really like their affiliation with T2, who doesn't want a Discount on tea.
Graduate, Melbourne
Our rewards systems where you can access discounts for various companies.
Graduate, Canberra
Generous parental leave policy, which may not be that relevant to most grads but is highly appealing to me. They have pretty good social events as well.
Graduate, Brisbane
Lots of miscellaneous discounts for various things.
Graduate, Sydney
Definitely lacking these extra perks unfortunately. I have not come across any generous or free offers.
Graduate, Sydney
Generous leave policy. Flexibility.
Graduate, Perth
Amazing parental leave
Graduate, Canberra
The perks are extremely disappointing. KPMG really need to consider (if not already available) perks such as leave policies for overtime, private health insurance, snacks in kitchen etc.
Graduate, Sydney
None come to mind
Graduate, Melbourne
They have a rewards system that provides discounts to many major retailers. They also have excellent leave policies and pay for approved post grad study.
Graduate, Brisbane
I think the variety of leaves available to employees at KPMG is definitely one of the best perks.
Graduate, Melbourne
Nothing. I don't care about perks.
Graduate, Sydney
I've worked with a few managers who make sure to recognize good performances with encore awards (which can be redeemed for gift cards). EOFY and Christmas parties are great as well.
Graduate, Canberra
Free drinks, KM reimbursements, dinners/lunches, social club events
Graduate, Adelaide
Constant free food is great
