What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Pay is very little for the hours and skill required - it is universal across the industry, but is the reason most talent leaves very early
Midlevel, Perth
I get paid a standard pay for my role, but the raises offered each year are pretty generous and the pay as you increase in seniority improves. One other offer I received from a big4 did offer a slightly higher starting pay but ony by 1k per year and the workload would have been significantly higher so I am pretty happy with the pay here for the amount of work-life balance that I get.

There should be performance based incentive - bonuses. At present there are none. GT pay otherwise is generally either similar to the Big 4 or slightly less than them.

Pay increases quickly - starts entry level but very easy to get pay increases, sometimes twice a year.
Midlevel, Melbourne
I understand I am on a graduate wage, and that it increases accordingly with levels and experience. We have recently been told we are receiving a bonus for the really busy year we had last year.

Industry rate.
Graduate, Sydney
Pay is most likely average in the industry. Is anyone happy with their pay? Only receiving a first bonus in July 2021.

From my knowledge, the pay appears to be competitive, if not slightly better, than at competing firms at a graduate level for the same role.

I think my pay is in line with the industry so happy in this sense, however would always like more money (or a bonus for busy season)

It appears there have been new intros to bonuses, including those during COVID, which is great and generous of the partners. Unfortunately the grad salary is quite low, at least for the type of work I could possibly get into.
Graduate, Melbourne
The pay is low, however it is on par with the industry standard for Accounting firms. I would like to be earning closer to what employees at banks and financial institutions earn with the same level of experience, however this is unrealistic for an Accounting firm. There are no bonuses paid.
Graduate, Sydney
I don't think the pay is the most competitive out there. However, still reasonable. Receiving a July bonus/appreciation payment but not sure about any official bonus scheme
Graduate, Melbourne
Only a graduate position so expectations weren't very high but certainly wouldn't complain with more money.
Graduate, Melbourne
Pay as expected. No bonuses.

Standard salary package compared to other professional services firms.

The pay is below the Big 4, but we shed barely any staff in Covid!

Although I am a grad so pay is expected to be at a lower level, I do believe my pay is a little lower than other grad positions.

Recent bonus was good - however, graduate pay does seem low compared to other company's

As I am a graduate just starting, I am very fortunate for the opportunity to work with such a respected company. Whilst my pay is lower than other job offers I received, I am hoping that towards my career development, my pay will increase.
Graduate, Melbourne
Pay is quite poor relative to other employers
