The company has a foundation dedicated to charitable work, however I have not been involved with it and cannot comment on its effectiveness. I initially expressed interest in being involved, however I was told by another employee that the onus in on individuals to pitch new charitable work to the committee and get the project on the ground. This dissuaded me somewhat, as I was under the impression the Foundation was more sophisticated than this. I also got the impression the Foundation was not particularly involved in causes I care about e.g. ability to work with indigenous people and communities.
