What’s in it for you? 

The EY Real Estate Advisory Services Project Management team is one of the largest and most diversified real estate advisory teams within Australia. Our national team of over 60 real estate specialists work across all sectors and real estate disciplines. We are market leaders in assisting clients to navigate disruption, emerging trends and new sectors. Working as part of the team will provide you with broad exposure to the following areas: 

  • Real Estate Valuations – Valuation experience across a range of asset classes including office, retail, residential, development projects as well as specialist and emerging asset classes such as Built to Rent and Healthcare. 
  • Real Estate Transactions – Managing and planning transaction processes for sales, leasing and structured development agreements. 
  • Real Estate Advisory – Various forms of engagements on behalf of private and government clients, including project feasibility, highest and best use analysis, due diligence, development strategies in emerging sectors such as Built-to-Rent and ESG initiatives. 
  • Real Estate Funding – Advising on capital funding options and overseeing and managing market-based processes to secure capital funding for projects and business plans. 
  • Project Management – working on project procurement, budgeting, feasibility and contract management while collaborating on a range of government, institutional and private clients to realise their property and development aspirations 

This Intern program provides the opportunity to gain unique experience and exposure to the multitude of asset classes and property sectors we work in on a regular basis.  

Our programs are structured around your final year(s) of study and professional commitments. In addition to a competitive salary, the program counts towards your API work experience (if relevant) and you will be exposed to an entrepreneurial culture that recognises, rewards and develops talent. 

Eligibility  

To be eligible for our EY Real Estate Advisory Project Management Intern Program you are required to be:  

  • Completing your studies in 2023 or 2024   
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident 
  • Completing a property related discipline with a view to Associate Membership with the Australian Property Institute

What you can expect   

All candidates are required to submit an online application attaching their passport (or alternative ID), CV and academic transcript   

All eligible candidates will be invited to complete a Job Simulation assessment which includes some video response questions  

Once we review your application and assessment results, you may be invited into an interview or Recruitment Day  

We recommend applying early as we will be recruiting on an ongoing basis, and positions will close once filled.  

Please note that it can take up to six weeks to hear from us as we have a rigorous recruitment process in place for our student program roles.
