How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
We have flex. Every minute worked over or under the specified 38 hours counts toward a balance that can be redeemed or paid back later.

Very flexible. The FLEX system is great, and I am always happy with the hours I work.

In a fortnight I will always complete the standard 76 hours (or more) but one week might be less than 38 hours and I will make up the hours the following week. This isn't something that is necessarily planned but just tends to happen due to workflow. My team is flexible with my start and finish times. Rarely am I required to start or finish at a certain time to complete urgent work.

Hours worked at are quite flexible. We have no flexible working from home, however.

Very flexible work policy. Depending on team usually there is about a 60/40 split between WFH and in the office.

Pretty flexible, most areas accommodate flexible working arrangements and you are able to take time off as you need.

Standard work hours are between 7am and 7pm, and you're expected to work 7 hours 36 minutes a day, if you work more you gain something called flex which is essentially time off equal to your additional work. anything over 10 hours in a day or on weekends is overtime, although you need permission to work overtime.

It's easy to work from home, easy to change your hours depending on your needs. If you need to run errands, it is often very easy to take a few hours of to do what you need to. Managers are understanding and accommodating whenever possible.

I usually work 9-5, but have the option of working between 7-7. Treasury asks that you work some weekends and overtime in the few weeks before Budget. However, you are paid for this overtime and strongly recommended to take leave immediately after Budget to recuperate.

It's quite flexible with regards to hours but there's still an expectation you work long hours and don't take much time off.

APS has flextime which gives back any hours worked over 38 per week.

It varies team to team, but mine are super flexible and very understanding of needing flexibility - not just for things like doctors appointments, but also fun things!

My standard week is 37.5 hours however I usually work a bit more than this. I get flextime though which means that any hours worked above standard hours go to flex which can be accrued and taken as leave- this is a great initiative for supporting work/life balance. Technically we are allowed to work within the bandwith of 7am-7pm however in my division it is expected that your hours are closer to normal business hours (8:30-5:00 usually).

The Treasury has avenues to apply for flexible work and maintains an open conversation on the issue. Flexi work is also excellent.
