Your role

Citi’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG) is looking for Summer Interns to join the Commercial Banking team in Asia Pacific (APAC). Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) is a global line of business at Citigroup that provides commercial banking services to mid-sized companies. CCB aspires to be the global bank of choice for trade-oriented companies, with revenues between $10MM - $1B. CCB wants their clients to see them as trusted thought partners who bring simplicity in an increasingly complex world, provide client-centric solutions for long-term growth and pave the way for them to reach across borders and achieve their global vision. The main products and services, that support the Commercial Bank target segment, include: Lending, Cash Management, Trade, Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Derivatives and Capital Markets solutions. CCB has operations in 25 countries. In Asia, CCB has operations in 11 countries (approximately 1,200 employees) with local and international expertise contributed by their bankers, underwriters, treasury management and client service staff located in each of the 11 countries. CCB Asia is a significant business for Citi in Asia and for CCB globally.

The Summer Analyst Program is dedicated to giving future business leaders a complete view of Citi's business. Through mentorship, training and career development programming, Summer Analysts can expect to finish the program with a broad understanding of the Commercial Banking business, as well as the operational intricacies of Citi. Tailored projects for Summer Analysts could be within these business areas:

  • Relationship management
  • Credit Lending Management
  • Client segment strategy
  • Business planning and analysis
  • Know Your Customer (KYC) and Control
  • Process design
