Current Opportunity

BDO are currently sourcing students in their penultimate year of university (graduating 2021) to complete a 2 - 4 week placement across a variety of service lines available in the Brisbane office.
Our Vacation Program will give you the opportunity to:

  • Receive exposure to a large variety of industries and client needs
  • Get hands on experience throughout your program to understand the divisions' type of work
  • Receive excellent mentoring and support throughout you placement
  • Develop your technical knowledge, skills set
  • Begin developing client relationships skills through dealing directly with clients
  • Receive excellent mentoring and support over your Vacation program period

We welcome students who

  • Are currently in their penultimate year (graduating in 2021) of a Bachelor of Commerce, Business, Postgraduate or similar degrees, majoring in Accounting and Law degrees
  • Will be eligible for CA/CPA postgraduate study
  • Are able to interact with all types of clients and people
  • Display solid academic achievement
  • Possess fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
  • Are involved in extra-curricular activities
  • Are a dynamic team player with an innovative approach to work and life
  • Have motivation for continuous learning and development.
  • Are an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent resident at time of application

What happens after you apply?

  • You will receive an email confirming our receipt of your application
  • Each application is reviewed individually
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete an online video interview, and successful candidates will be invited to attend an assessment centre by Thursday, 9 April 2020
  • For successful applicants, our Assessment Centres will be scheduled on Tuesday, 14 April – Thursday, 16 April 2020
  • All applicants will be updated throughout the process as to the progress of their application.
