Your role: 

As a Navy Dentist you'll provide the full range of dental treatments to Defence personnel at no cost to the patient, so treatment plans never have to be compromised.  

The facilities you'll work in will range from large multi-dentist surgeries offering the full range of general and specialist dental services, to single dentist clinics at a base or in a ship. All are modern and fully equipped and you’ll be supported by well-trained dental and clerical staff. 

If you’re already studying or ready to study a job-relevant degree at your choice of accredited university, you can join the Navy and have your fees paid for. You’ll earn a salary while you complete your degree and walk straight into a Navy role following graduation.

Salary:  

While studying for your degree, you will be paid a salary of between $35,326 and $54,166 depending on your year of study.  

Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $115,443.

For this role, you must be over 17 at time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen and you must be enrolled into an AHPRA approved degree with have no more than four years of full-time study outstanding to complete your degree.
