6.30 AM

Wake up time! I like to start my day off right with an early gym session. Nothing gets me going like pumping some iron. Fortunately, my gym is great and it’s only a 10-minute walk from my place.

8.00 AM

Back from the gym, it’s time for a quick shower and starts preparing for my day. I’ll usually check Hacker News, AFR, r/AusFinance and a few other places to get a gist of what is going on in the world.

Since I’ve been working from home today, there’s no commute, so I have more time to check these things before work.

9.00 AM

It’s time to start! I don’t have much on this morning so it’s time to focus. Today I’m writing code to test my machine learning pipeline that I’ve been working on for the last few weeks.

12.00 PM

It’s time for a break (and some lunch!). My current go-to is scrambled eggs on toast with a protein shake. Today is a nice day so it’s a good time to go for short work and listen to a podcast.

1.00 PM

Today is a special day as I’m helping to host a KnowComm event. KnowComm is one of our graduate committees that provides professional development events for the cohort. This time, I’m interviewing a finance expert inside the bank to teach the grads about how the finances in the bank really work.

3.00 PM

Today I also have a meeting for a graduate-run initiative for the entire bank called ANZ Radio. I’m the communications lead on this project so we are talking through our plan to engage as much of the bank as possible in our sessions.

5.00 PM

It’s the end of the day now. I’ll close my tabs and save my work so that it’s all clean for tomorrow.

I’ve got a Toastmasters meeting tonight so it’s time to cook up some dinner and head out for our session.

9.30 PM

After a big day, it’s time to wind down. I’ll usually sit down and read a book during this time, something light to rest my mind so that I can sleep well and start the day off right tomorrow!
