Eligibility for our programย 

To be eligible for the ACT Government Graduate Program, you must:

  • be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand citizen; and;
  • have completed an Australian university degree, or an equivalent degree as recognised by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR), within the last five years (between 1 January 20220 to 31 December 2024)
  • be available to start work on Monday, 5 February 2025

The ACT Government Graduate Program offers adjusted eligibility for people from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with a Disability. If you are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person or person with a Disability you must:

  • be an Australian citizen, Permanent Resident or New Zealand citizen; and;
  • have completed an Australian university degree, or an equivalent degree as recognised by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR), within the last seven years (1 January 2018 to 31 December 2024).

*Please note:ย that evidence of citizenship or permanent residency will be required by 30 September 2024 to be eligible for the ACT Government Graduate Program.
