Your role
Abbott has an exciting opportunity for an Intern to join the Quality team. Throughout your placement, you will find yourself:
Support the QA function with Batch Approval processes and management of projects within ADC Witney, ensuring project milestones are met on time in full.
Supporting the ADC Witney QS Improvement plan to ensure continual improvement and effectiveness of the Quality System by divisional and corporate requirements and applicable regulations.
Assisting the development and implementation of continuous improvement plans
Supporting Quality Audit Readiness through identifying and remediating audit risks.
Supporting the planning and organizing of external Quality audits.
Collaborating as part of cross-functional project teams by providing guidance and offering solutions for timely and cost-effective improvement projects.
Participating in project teams to ensure that changes to existing products and processes are made in compliance with ADC quality system requirements
Responsible for supporting the gathering and analyzing of data for post-market surveillance activities for on-market products and analyzing quality data, processes, and procedures to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Support the investigation of non-conforming events and identification of corrective action to prevent occurrence.
Supporting administration and projects for the core quality management systems responsible for maintaining Training and Document Control

You’ll experience daily challenges in a creative, dynamic environment. You will work in the quality department where you will meet passionate people with very different skills and backgrounds and gain knowledge. About you
To apply for this role you need to have the following eligibility criteria:
You should be studying for a degree in an engineering or sciences field, and be seeking a year in industry placement as part of your qualification.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative can work within a team and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
You will need to have good oral and written communication skills to be able to prepare reports and technical documents.
You must be organized and flexible in your approach to work, with good attention to detail to ensure that data and analyses are accurate and meet the requirements of the project.
