Your role

Structured early talent programs are a great way to start your career in ABB Australia's global company. Be it with rotations, mentorships, or additional soft skills training - ABB offers different options, from the ABB Discovery program to the Global Early Talent Program. At the local level, some business-specific programs may be active - check out their job search to explore further!

The program is 18-24 months divided into 3 or 4 rotations. As a participant you will have the opportunity to explore different teams and roles, learning more as your advance. Potential roles include sales, project management, operations, lean manufacturing, supply chain, service, and more. the program is the perfect blend of challenging and diverse tasks, social and networking activities, and soft/hard-skills training. The program is activated at a country level and you will start your journey together with other participants.

Training, development & rotations

Our Graduate program offering:

ABB Australia's program gives you the chance to develop your skills and expertise through seminars, events, and individual training and development. Soft skills training can include communication and presentation techniques, intercultural awareness, working in virtual teams, interview training, and social media training.
Hard skills and professional training depend on the role and the assignment. They can focus on a particular software, project management approaches, health and safety, and sales techniques among others.

During the program, you will experience different assignments and tasks, and work in various teams. In the final months of the program, you will have the chance to apply for available final positions and start a new chapter of your story!

About you

ABB Discovery can target both graduates (bachelor's or master's) with engineering/STEM backgrounds and candidates for other functions, such as finance or marketing for example. Targeted profiles vary from intake to intake and are based on the evolution of ABB Australia's Business Areas and technologies.
