Kathleen was admitted to practice in 2013. Kathleen has experience acting in a range of commercial disputes, including in contract, equity and tort, as well as in the employment, directors’ duties, product liability, property and telecommunications spheres. Kathleen also has experience acting in a number of significant Federal Court class actions.
Kathleen’s experience includes acting:
- in respect of a “sham contracting” class action in the Federal Court;
- for an American manufacturer of medical implants in a Federal Court class action;
- for the directors of a former-ASX listed company in respect of various matters arising from the voluntary administration of that entity, including public examinations and proceedings for insolvent trading;
- for a range of global product companies in respect of voluntary recalls of consumer and professional use goods marketed and sold in Asia-Pacific jurisdictions; and
- for employers in resolving employment-related disciplinary and restraint matters.
