Jeremy Hardy undertook a Summer Clerkship at Baker McKenzie in 2016/17. During his Summer Clerkship, he rotated in our Dispute Resolution and Corporate practice groups, followed by a client secondment with a prominent global environmental NGO.
Jeremy commenced as a Graduate in September 2018, rotating through the Employment, Tax and Dispute Resolution practice groups. He settled in the Competition & Consumer team (within the broader Dispute Resolution group) in March 2020. His work is varied and includes: general competition, consumer law and compliance advice; investigations; litigation; and seeking ACCC clearance on various merger matters.
Jeremy studied a combined Bachelor of Laws / Business & Commerce at Western Sydney University. Since commencing at Baker McKenzie, Jeremy has been involved in a range of diversity and inclusion and pro bono initiatives, including being appointed Deputy Chair of the Australian BakerLGBTI+ & Allies committee and regularly volunteering his time to provide legal advice at the Marrickville Legal Centre's Youth Legal Service.
