Our 12-month accelerated Networks Technology Program offers top technical university graduates a unique, hands-on environment to learn, develop and build your career and become one of our deep technology experts and thought leaders.
With intakes twice a year (in July 2018 & January 2019), the Networks Technology Program is designed to accelerate momentum, building capability in our business that aligns to our future technology vision. The program offers an amazing opportunity to develop and fast track your career in technology at Telstra.
What will I be working on?
Our Networks team looks after the planning, design and construction of our world-class networks and products across fixed, wireless and media technologies. We work closely with our Chief Technology Office (CTO), product and operational teams maintain our superior network; a network that makes us Australia's leading telecommunications provider.
Our engineers represent Telstra in the development of industry technology standards across the world – and if that's not a mighty enough task, they're also planning, designing and building infrastructure at a scale you won't find anywhere else.
What you can expect on the program
With two to three rotations over 12 months, you'll specialise in a technology discipline with a pre-set development program.
You'll have the opportunity to work on Telstra's world-class network solutions and products. For example, we're testing 5G along with other emerging technologies to ensure we're at the forefront of innovation. You'll gain invaluable exposure to experts, innovation projects and accelerated learning experiences over the course of the program.
Who we look for
You'll be degree qualified in one or more of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Systems, Mathematics, Analytics, Physics, Network and Communications.
An interest in computer science, programming and coding will also be highly regarded.
