The Auditor-General's Department is the independent auditor of the South Australian public sector. The Department reports directly to Parliament on the audits and examinations of state and local government agencies covering financial reports and operations, controls and matters of public interest. About the role
The Auditor-General's Department is a great place to start your career and will give you a broad range of auditing, financial, accounting and management experience.
As an Audit Analyst you will be an integral part of an audit team in carrying out financial and compliance auditing and system reviews. Tasks include:
- examining and verifying financial related transactions and records
- evaluating internal accounting controls and financial reporting systems
- preparing reports
You will also complete our graduate development program during your first 12 months in the Department. This program helps you to settle into your new job, learn how the Department works and provides you with the skills to be successful in your role.
